The folks of the late 1950s had a particular fascination with things in orbit, and this rug translates that obsession into something you can put on your floor. Olive verticals rise through a near-black field while pods of varying sizes float between them, threaded through with the finest red lines, like a diagram of something wonderful just discovered.

Hand-knotted in a dramatic palette that makes a room feel like the most interesting place in the house.

Whether or not you plan to place your rug immediately it’s important to open the bale to avoid further creasing.

It’s best to place the rug immediately. If you don’t plan to place it right away, unroll the rug and lay flat for 48 hours. Reverse the direction when you re-roll the rug and place it somewhere it won’t present a tripping hazard.

Hand knotted rugs are very durable and contain a high amount of natural, protective lanolin. Improper cleaning can strip the fibers of lanolin. Every stain is different—for spot cleaning, hire a professional to clean your rug.
