Assembly

Most fixtures arrive assembled. Some fixtures require a minimal amount of assembly upon arrival.

Installation is easy for the DIYer, handyman or electrician with a standard set of screwdrivers. Larger items may need a couple pairs of hands during installation. If you’re unsure about properly connecting electrical components we recommend you hire a professional to install. Large fixtures mounted to the ceiling may require the customer to supply mounting hardware (like toggle bolts, wood screws and anchors).

Care

Dust lightly with a soft cloth. If glass shades need extra care, detach them and wash in warm, soapy water. Avoid abrasive cloths and cleaning solutions that contain ammonia.

Our handcrafted lighting typically ships six to eight weeks from order date.

Returns

Overall height includes the distance between the mounting surface and the lowest point of the fixture (including shades if relevant). We measure overall height in inches. Please note that extended chain length may incur additional charges.

MOUNTING OVER A TABLE

We recommend that the lowest point of the fixture be at least 36” above your table.

Measure your ceiling height, subtract the height of the table (most tables are 30” tall), then subtract the distance above the table you want the fixture to hang. The resulting number is your overall height. Enlarge the graphic for a visual explanation.

MOUNTING IN A WALKWAY

We recommend that the lowest point of the fixture be at least 84” above the floor.
