We purchased the architectural bronze finish and it matches wonderfully with our door hardware and patio light. The construction is sturdy, and the lid has nice weight to it. It opens easily, and shuts gently. A smidge of water has gotten into the bottom of the mailbox after a bad rain storm, but nothing crazy and it hasn't affected our letters at all. Our mailbox is not under any protective awning or roofing which I think might help, but again, it doesn't bother us. It's large enough to handle small packages which we like. All around a fantastic purchase and we are quite pleased.
