Message from the Artist: I was researching the peacock and what it meant across other cultures.
Insight, elegance, beauty, integrity, rebirth, royalty, wealth and awakening were repetitive themes for this lovely bird.
Many times, I write poetry or a motto that will go alongside my artwork. These words came to mind: ‘Seek Out the Awakening of Insight and the Refinement of Integrity, There You Will Find True Happiness.’ If we seek connection, gratitude and self-improvement as we live our lives, I find they are the fertile soil for happiness.
