Our solid brass Spruce Table Lamp is an accurate reproduction of the original reading lamps built in 1904 by the Limbert Furniture Company for the Old Faithful Inn located in Yellowstone National Park.
The original reading lamps and custom made writing desks are located throughout the second story balcony and give the guests of the Inn a comfortable and well lit space to write post cards and letters.
Approximately 20 years ago, the original Limbert metal shade pattern was given to Old California in hopes that we would reproduce this wonderful fixture. We decided to update the original design by adding side skirts to the shade to better hide the sockets and then mounted the shade on a Limbert designed double pedestal oak base. The overall shade size and spruce tree pattern is exact in every detail including the owl hidden in the tree branches.
Starting at
Perfect for a Craftsman, Bungalow or Mission style home, our beautiful table lamp is constructed of solid brass with hand hammered rivets and is wired with four Edison base sockets. Four 60 watt equivalent LED lamps are supplied and an on/off switch is located on the lamp cord.
You can customize your Spruce Table Lamp with four optional finish options and eight optional glass and mica panels.
The Old Faithful Inn, located in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, has a clear view of the renowned Old Faithful Geyser. Initial construction was carried out over the winter of 1903-1904, using locally-obtained materials including lodge pole pine and rhyolite stone. When the Old Faithful Inn first opened in the spring of 1904, it boasted electric lights and steam heat. With its spectacular log and limb lobby and massive stone fireplace, the inn is a prime example of the "Golden Age" of rustic resort architecture.

Wondeful lamp
We have had this lamp for almost 10 years. It is beautiful and created with master craftsmanship. We have it behind sofa on a the table in our living room. It provides great reading light and that spot is the favorite in the room in the evening. Thanks for the many great nights reading!
