Our solid brass single pedestal Spruce Table Lamp was inspired by the original reading lamps built in 1904 by the Limbert Furniture Company for the Old Faithful Inn located in Yellowstone National Park.
The original reading lamps and custom made writing desks are located throughout the second story balcony and give the guests of the Inn a comfortable and well lit space to write post cards and letters.
Approximately 20 years ago, the original Limbert metal shade pattern was given to Old California in hopes that we would reproduce this wonderful fixture. We decided to update the original design by reducing it to a square size and adding side skirts to the shade to better hide the sockets. We then mounted the shade on a Limbert designed single pedestal oak base. The spruce tree pattern is exact in every detail including the owl hidden in the tree branches.

Perfect for a Craftsman, Bungalow or Mission style home, our beautiful table lamp is constructed of solid brass with hand hammered rivets and is wired with two Edison base sockets. Two 60 watt equivalent LED lamps are supplied and an on/off switch is located on the lamp cord.
The Old Faithful Inn, located in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, has a clear view of the renowned Old Faithful Geyser. Initial construction was carried out over the winter of 1903-1904, using locally-obtained materials including lodge pole pine and rhyolite stone. When the Old Faithful Inn first opened in the spring of 1904, it boasted electric lights and steam heat. With its spectacular log and limb lobby and massive stone fireplace, the inn is a prime example of the "Golden Age" of rustic resort architecture.

Limbert Single Pedestal Lamp
This is the second lamp we have purchased from Old California. Great lamp. Perfect on our Stickley end table. Very well made. Solid construction. Arrived earlier than expected. Will buy from Old California again.

Love it!
I had my eye on this lamp for a few years. I already have a flush ceiling fixture, oak acorn chandelier and a Monterey floor lamp. Each one looks so great, well made and well worth the cost. I was finally able to make this purchase. I am already looking around to see where another lamp or light should go.
